The Laboratory of International Political and Legal Studies aims to support the educational and research needs of the Department and other Departments of the University of Macedonia in related fields, to develop teaching programmes and to conduct basic and applied research. In addition, it promotes the dissemination of knowledge through academic activities and publications, as well as cooperation with universities and research centres in Greece and abroad for joint research activities and interdisciplinary dialogue. It fosters cooperation with public sector bodies, local authorities and international organisations to address contemporary problems. In addition, it seeks to attract funded research and create academic networks. Finally, it offers services to natural or legal persons and enhances skills in research and organisational fields through participation in its activities.
